Speakers

Bob Stith is the National Strategist for Gender Issues for the Southern Baptist Convention.  Before accepting this position, Bob served as the pastor of Carroll Baptist Church in Southlake, TX for 37 years.  He is chairman of the board for Living Hope Ministries in Dallas, TX, and has served on the board of Exodus International, the world’s largest ex-gay ministry.

 

 

 

Mike Goeke is an associate pastor at Stonegate Fellowship in Midland, TX.  Mike is also the Director of Cross Power Ministries, a ministry of Stonegate that works primarily with married couples and families impacted by homosexuality.  In addition to his ministry at Stonegate, Mike spent two years at Exodus International as Executive Vice President and currently serves on its Board of Directors.

 

 

 

Patrick Payton has been the Senior Pastor of Stonegate Fellowship since its beginning in 1999.  Patrick spent several years in the business world before attending and graduating from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.  He has a heart to see lives changed through Jesus Christ and to see the local church become all that God designed it to be.  Patrick is from Tulsa Oklahoma and remains a dedicated OU fan.

 

 

 

Christopher Yuan is a Bible professor at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL.  Having been saved out of a life of drug dealing and homosexuality, Christopher is also an international speaker on issues related to sexuality and those living with AIDS/HIV.  Christopher graduated from Wheaton College Graduate School in  2007 with an MA in Biblical Exegesis, and is currently pursuing a doctorate of ministry at Bethel Seminary.

Location

The conference will be held at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, in Louisville, KY.  All sessions will take place in Heritage Hall, in the Honeycutt Building.

Housing can be conveniently arranged with the Legacy Center on the campus of Southern Seminary.
